Samz Design is a Malaysian furniture manufacturing, fabrication, and project solutions company. We are based in Shah Alam, Selangor. First and foremost, We are outdoor furniture specialist, manufacturing for residential and commercial spaces across Malaysia.

We fabricate all our outdoor furniture in-house. As a result, we maintain full control over quality, materials, and finishing at every stage of production. For indoor furniture, we work closely with trusted manufacturing partners in Indonesia. Their skilled craftsmen and refined detailing complement our own standards perfectly.

Additionally, we combine modern aesthetics with durable, high-performance materials. So every piece we produce is built to enhance your space — whether it is a private home, a hotel poolside, or a commercial development.

Our Story

Samz Design is driven by over a decade of international furniture and project experience. Our leadership team has personally delivered furniture projects for residential spaces, restaurants, cafés, offices, hotels, and resorts. Furthermore, these projects span Malaysia, the Maldives, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia.

Before establishing Samz Design, our leadership worked directly with designers and companies across multiple disciplines. Specifically, they held hands-on roles in Sales Management, Quality Control, Production Management, Business Development, and Showroom Operations. As a result, we understand the complete A-to-Z workflow of every furniture project.

That means we understand every stage — from client consultations and design coordination through to job orders, production supervision, finishing quality, packing, delivery, and after-sales support. So when you work with Samz Design, you work with a team that has lived every part of the process from both sides.

Additionally, our team has worked with clients and markets across Malaysia, China, Indonesia, and the Middle East. What We Do

Materials and Craftmanship

At Samz Design, we carefully select every material we use. First, we evaluate each material for long-term durability and outdoor performance in Malaysia’s tropical climate. As a result, every product in our collection is built to last.

Our outdoor furniture collections feature five premium materials:

Teak Wood — A naturally dense and weather-resistant hardwood. It withstands moisture, heat, and UV exposure without warping or cracking. Furthermore, it develops a beautiful silver-grey patina over time that adds character to any outdoor space.

Balau Wood — A premium Southeast Asian hardwood known for its strength and density. It is highly resistant to moisture and insects. Additionally, it performs exceptionally well in hot and humid tropical conditions — making it one of the best outdoor furniture materials available in Malaysia.

Powder-coated Aluminium — A lightweight yet incredibly strong frame material. The powder-coat finish resists rust, chipping, and UV fading. So your aluminium furniture stays looking new through years of outdoor exposure.

Synthetic Wicker (PE Wicker / Viro) — A high-density polyethylene material engineered for all-weather outdoor use. Unlike natural rattan, it will not crack, absorb moisture, or fade in direct sunlight. Moreover, it is easy to clean with a damp cloth.

Olefin Rope — A UV-stabilised synthetic rope used in premium outdoor seating. It dries quickly after rain, resists mould and mildew, and maintains its colour and texture through extended outdoor use.
