Shipping, Delivery and Disposal Policy

At Samz Design, we deliver indoor and outdoor furniture across Malaysia. This policy sets out where we deliver, how charges are calculated, how long orders take, and what our assembly, disposal and reinstallation services cover.

Delivery Areas

We deliver to the following zones:

Selangor & Kuala Lumpur

Putrajaya & Negeri Sembilan

Johor & Penang

Perak, Melaka & Pahang

Kedah & Kelantan

Not in one of these zones? Delivery is still available by manual freight quotation. Contact us before placing your order and we will quote your location.

    Delivery Charges

    Delivery charges are calculated based on:

    Delivery location

    Vehicle type required (pickup, van, or lorry)

    Order size and volume

    Lead Time & Delivery

    Made-to-order items: 20–25 days (production plus delivery, depending on the piece and customisation)

    Ready-stock items: 3–7 working days

    B2B and bulk orders: timeline confirmed after order

    Our team will contact you to arrange a delivery date.

    Assembly Service

    Assembly is included for selected areas. Additional charges may apply for:

    No lift access (staircase delivery)

    Special handling requirements

    Delivery on High Rise

    Delivery to ground floor is provided at no additional cost however, carry-up charges apply for upper floors (up to the 6th floor via stairs where there is no lift):

    Small item: RM10 per floor

    Large item: RM20 per floor

    Delivery Schedule

    Deliveries are made on weekdays only. Public holiday delivery is available for an additional RM50 charge. Please inspect all items on delivery and tell us immediately if there is any issue.

    Sharing Lorry Delivery

    For interstate deliveries, we may use shared lorry transport. Charges are based on packing size and destination.

    Old Furniture Disposal

    Must be arranged before delivery is scheduled.

    Available only for same-category items purchased from Samz Design.

    Disposal may be refused if items are severely damaged or have bed bugs.

    Dismantle & Reinstallation

    Available on request with prior notice.

    Charge: RM150 per item (e.g. bed frame, wardrobe, cabinet).

    Samz Design is not responsible for scratches or damage that may occur during dismantling or reinstallation.
