Wooden Furniture Material

Wood is one of the most versatile furniture materials, and we use premium teak and reclaimed teak for both indoor and outdoor pieces. Teak is naturally durable, strong and timeless; moreover, its high oil content helps it cope with a hot, humid climate. In addition, we offer Balau for heavy outdoor use, along with mahogany, rubber wood and other timbers better suited to indoor settings. Because every space is different, we first guide you on which wood performs best, but the final choice always remains yours. As a result, we customise each piece to match your preference and design vision.

Metallic Furniture Materials

For frames, our core metal furniture materials are powder-coated aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel. Together, these metals give our sofas, chairs, tables and other furniture the strength, stability and durability needed for both indoor and outdoor use in Malaysian and Singapore conditions. Furthermore, every frame is finished with powder coating, which adds a protective, low-maintenance layer in a wide choice of colours. For weaving and detailing, please see the weaving section below.

Furniture Material used in Weaving

Weaving is another key group of furniture materials, and we use different weaves for dining seats, sofas, side tables and custom furniture — each one fully customised to your requirements, design and size. Whether you prefer a modern or a natural finish, therefore, we can match the weave to your space concept, durability needs and project specifications, for indoor and outdoor settings alike.

Synthetic Viro Wicker (PE Rattan)

Highly durable, UV-resistant and waterproof, this synthetic weave is therefore ideal for Malaysia’s tropical climate and needs only low-maintenance care, indoors or out.

Rattan (Natural)

With a warm, organic look, natural rattan suits indoor and covered areas; however, it is lightweight and best kept away from heavy rain and long, direct sun.

Olefin Rope

UV-resistant woven Olefin rope works well both outdoors and indoors, giving a modern, contemporary look. In addition, it is weather-durable and quick-drying, so you can clean it easily with mild soap and water.

Cushion and Upholstery Material

For comfort, our upholstery furniture materials include a variety of fabrics, PU leather, PVC leather and Batyline mesh. In addition, our team provides sample swatches, so you can select the perfect colour and texture for your space and design concept — whether the piece lives indoors or outside.

Batyline is a breathable, quick-drying mesh; consequently, it is a popular choice for sling chairs and loungers.

Normal and Quick Dry Foam

We offer both standard foam and quick-dry foam. Because quick-dry foam lets water pass straight through, it is the better option for exposed outdoor seating, whereas standard foam suits covered and indoor use.

Acrylic Fabric

Acrylic fabric is soft yet hard-wearing; moreover, it resists fading, mildew and moisture, which makes it well suited to both indoor and outdoor cushions.

Canvas

Canvas is a heavier, durable woven fabric. As a result, we often use it for covers, shades and structured pieces.
