The Linea Outdoor Aluminium Rope Daybed

Built in our own Shah Alam workshop, the Linea pairs a powder-coated aluminium frame with hand-woven Olefin rope. The result is a round daybed that seats several people comfortably and holds up to years of Malaysian sun and rain.

At Ø180 cm, the circular form encourages people to spread out rather than sit in a row. Soft, high-density cushions sit deep enough for an afternoon of proper lounging.

Aluminium doesn’t rust, so the frame stays sound through humidity, heat, and monsoon downpours. Olefin rope is solution-dyed, meaning the colour runs through each fibre instead of sitting on the surface, so it resists fading. Maintenance amounts to an occasional rinse with fresh water.

We fabricate every Linea daybed ourselves, which changes a few things. Sizes, rope colours, frame finishes, and cushion fabrics can all be specified to order. Lead times run on our schedule rather than a shipping container’s.

For hotels, resorts, and clubhouses, we supply the Linea in project quantities with custom dimensions and finishes.
