We build dining tables in Shah Alam for Malaysian homes, cafes, restaurants and hospitality projects, and ship the same collection to Singapore, the UAE and the UK. Where a table has a metal component, such as a galvanized steel pedestal or an aluminium bar-height frame, that base is fabricated in-house at our Subang workshop, powder-coated, and hand-checked before it leaves the floor. The split matters because it lets us stand behind the frame quality ourselves, while giving you the depth of teak grain that only established Indonesian workshops can supply at this price.

Ovi Teak Wood Dining Table. Our biggest oval, seating 8 comfortably and 10 tight. Solid teak top on substantial teak legs, with a naturally weather-resistant finish that also suits a covered patio or lanai. Size 290 x 90 x 76 cm. Ideal for extended families and open-house season.

Wave Teak Wood Dining Table. Solid teak oval with a natural finish, designed for modern dining rooms. Size 260 x 90 x 76 cm. The rounded ends let one or two extra people squeeze in without a corner in the ribs.

Samz Teak Wood Rectangular Dining Table. Our most-specified residential piece. A warm look on elegant tapered legs, sized for a typical Malaysian condo dining area at 180 x 90 x 76 cm. Natural and colour customisation available.

Breeze Teak Wood Dining Table. Compact solid teak table with a natural finish, suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Size 150 x 90 x 75 cm. The right table for smaller condos, breakfast nooks and covered balconies.

LCS Solid Wood Round Pedestal Table. Combines a stone top with a handcrafted solid wood pedestal base. Designed for modern homes and commercial spaces. Colour, wood and size options available. A popular pick for cafes and consultation rooms that want a round table without a wobble.

Hilton Round Table. Round teak top on a galvanized steel base, seating up to 4. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The teak top is designed and finished in Shah Alam, while the steel base is fabricated in-house at our Subang workshop, which is what gives it the weight and stability you want in a round table.

Samz Bar Dining Set. Bar-height set with a powder-coated aluminium frame, a round high top and 4 grain-look high stools. Table diameter 75 cm, height 90 cm. The aluminium frame is built in-house in Shah Alam, powder-coated for scratch and weather resistance, and rated for continuous commercial use in cafes, bistros and hotel bars.

How to choose the right dining table for your Malaysian home

Twenty years of watching Malaysians pick the wrong table gives you a very specific checklist. Read this before you order.

Seating capacity is a function of length, not marketing. A 1.5m table (Breeze) seats 4 comfortably or 6 tight. A 1.8m table (Samz Rectangular) seats 6 comfortably or 8 tight. A 2.6m table (Wave) seats 8 comfortably. A 2.9m table (Ovi) seats 8 with room and 10 for a full open-house meal. Round tables need more diameter per seat than most people expect: a 1.2m round takes 4, a 1.5m round takes 6.

Room clearance is not optional. Leave at least 90 cm from every edge of the table to the nearest wall, so chairs can pull out and people can walk behind seated guests. In a 3 x 3.6 metre dining area, the biggest rectangular table that actually works is around 1.8 x 0.9 metres, which is exactly why the Samz Teak Wood Rectangular is our top-selling residential piece.

Shape follows use, not preference. Oval tables (Wave, Ovi) suit large families and open houses. Rectangular tables (Samz, Breeze) give you the most seats per square foot and suit narrow rooms. Round tables (Hilton, LCS Pedestal) encourage conversation and remove the awkward end seat. Bar-height sets (Samz Bar Dining Set) suit open-plan kitchens where a full dining table would break the sightline to the living area.

Solid teak, stone tops and metal bases: what we build and why

Solid teak tops are the backbone of this collection. Teak carries roughly 15 percent natural oil in the heartwood, which is what makes it survive Malaysian humidity, spills and thermal cycling without splitting. Every teak table on this page is A-grade, kiln-dried, and cut from mature heartwood. A light oiling once every 12 to 18 months using teak or tung oil keeps the warm honey tone. Stone tops on the LCS Solid Wood Round Pedestal are heat-tolerant and stain-tolerant when correctly sealed. Ideal for cafes and restaurants that punish tables daily, paired with a solid wood pedestal for warmth and weight.

Metal bases on the Hilton Round and the Samz Bar Dining Set are fabricated in-house from galvanized steel and powder-coated aluminium respectively. Building the frames ourselves lets us control the weld quality, the powder coating thickness and the base weight, which is the difference between a rock-solid table at year three and a wobble that gets worse every month. Custom dining tables built to your exact size

Every table on this page is available in custom dimensions. If your dining area is longer than it is wide, if you want a specific number of seats, if you have inherited a set of chairs that need a matching table, or if you want to match the teak batch to an existing sideboard, our custom design service is the shortest route to a table that fits properly.

On-site measurement is complimentary in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Outstation clients can send dimensions and site photos over WhatsApp. Within 3 to 5 working days you receive a 3D visualisation of the tabletop, base and finish, plus a fixed quote. Nothing is cut until you approve the drawing. Standard custom tables take 3 to 5 weeks from deposit to delivery. For custom teak stains, match samples are prepared and sent for approval before final finishing.

Pair it with the right chair height

The most common furniture mistake we see in Malaysian homes is a beautiful table paired with the wrong chair height. The rules are simple:

• Standard dining tables at 76 cm tall (every regular table on this page) pair with chair seats at 45 to 47 cm. Browse dining chairs.
• Bar-height tables at 90 cm (the Samz Bar Dining Set) need stools at 60 to 65 cm. Browse bar stools.
• Counter-height tables at 90 cm on a custom order also pair with 60 to 65 cm stools.
• True bar-height tables at 105 to 110 cm (custom only) need 75 to 80 cm bar stools.
