Home Decor Malaysia

Furniture gives a room its shape. Decor is what makes it feel like yours.

A mirror placed right doubles the light in a narrow hallway. The right rug makes a floating sofa set finally look intentional. A cushion in cheap fabric looks fine for a month and then starts telling on itself. These aren’t small decisions. They’re the ones that separate a room that looks finished from one that just has furniture in it.

At Samz Design, the home decor range is sourced with the same care we put into our furniture. Real materials, honest descriptions, pieces that hold up once they’re actually in your home. Browse below, visit us at the Shah Alam showroom, or get in touch if you want help putting something together.

Cushions and Covers

The quickest way to change the mood of a sofa or a bed without touching a single piece of furniture. Our cushion cover range covers a wide spread of colours, textures and sizes so mixing and matching doesn’t turn into a guessing game.

If you’ve got outdoor furniture or a covered terrace, look at the indoor/outdoor options specifically. These use solution-dyed fabric, meaning the colour is woven into the fibre during manufacturing rather than applied on top as a coating. That’s why they hold up under direct sun and tropical rain where regular outdoor fabric fades out within a season. They pair well with the outdoor sofa sets and lounge chairs in the range.

Need a specific size, fabric or colour? Custom cushion covers are available. Get in touch with the details and we’ll sort it out.

Mirrors

A well-placed mirror does more work per square centimetre than almost anything else in a room. Our decorative mirror range goes from clean round frames for compact spaces to larger rectangular pieces for hallways, living rooms and dressing areas.

One practical note: position a large mirror on the wall directly opposite a window and it reflects natural light back into the room. The whole space reads brighter and bigger without any structural changes. If you want to talk through sizing for a specific wall before buying, come into the showroom and we’ll look at it together.

Wall Art

Prints, panels, textured pieces. Wall art covers the space that furniture can’t reach.

Used well, it gives a blank wall a reason to be looked at. Used poorly, it just fills space in a forgettable way. The range works across different interior styles: cleaner lines for modern spaces, warmer and more textured pieces for rooms with a more traditional feel. If you’re combining wall art with mirrors on the same wall, give each piece room to read independently. Crowded arrangements tend to cancel each other out.

Rugs

A rug grounds a seating arrangement. Without one, a sofa set sitting in the middle of a room looks unanchored. With the right rug, the whole layout clicks.

Our rug range covers soft neutral tones for living rooms where the floor shouldn’t compete with everything else, and stronger patterns for rooms where the rug is meant to be part of the look. Buying online and unsure about size? Here’s a useful rule: the rug should be large enough for at least the front legs of your sofa and main chairs to sit on. Anything smaller reads as an afterthought, regardless of how nice the rug is.

Vases and Decorative Pieces

The finishing details that make a shelf look considered rather than just populated.

A single vase on a console table does more than a cluster of small mismatched things competing for attention. Our decorative pieces are chosen around that idea: items that earn their spot without needing to be noticed loudly. Works well on dining tables, sideboards, bookshelves, and entryways. If you’re styling a living room from scratch, the living room range has console tables and sideboards that pair naturally with these pieces.

Clocks

Decorative wall clocks that do a job and look right doing it. The range suits living rooms, studies and bedrooms. One thing worth knowing: if you’re placing a clock on a busy wall with other art or mirrors nearby, go larger than you think you need. A small clock on a large wall disappears. A larger one commands the space it’s in.

Accessories

Trays, ornaments, candle holders, and smaller finishing pieces. These are the things people notice when they walk into a well-styled room and can’t quite pin down why it looks put together. They’re also the first things that look cheap when chosen badly.

We keep the accessories range focused rather than overwhelming. Fewer options, each one worth picking up.

Doors

Function and form in the same piece. Our door range covers solid wood and other durable options for different locations and traffic levels. The right material depends on where the door is going: a bedroom door handles different use than a bathroom door or a main entrance.

If you’re choosing a door, the showroom is genuinely the better way to do it. Seeing the finish, feeling the weight, and knowing the dimensions in the context of your actual opening makes the decision a lot cleaner. Doors are a longer-term buy than cushions.

Mattresses

A beautifully styled bedroom still needs to be somewhere you sleep well. Our mattress range is chosen for genuine comfort, not just as a footnote to the furniture. Browse current options in store or contact us directly for what’s available.

A good bedroom setup usually starts with the bed itself. If you’re furnishing from the ground up, the bedroom furniture range has beds, bedside tables and wardrobes worth looking at alongside the decor.

Why Samz Design for Home Decor

FAQs

Can you make custom cushion covers?

Yes. Share the size, fabric type and colour you need. We’ll confirm what’s possible and go from there. Custom orders are a normal part of what we do, not a special exception.

Are the outdoor cushions actually fade-resistant?

The indoor/outdoor cushions use solution-dyed fabric. The colour is part of the fibre, not a coating on top of it. Under direct sun and Malaysian rain, they last significantly longer than standard outdoor cushion fabric.

Do you deliver home decor items across Malaysia?

Yes. Delivery is available nationwide. Timing depends on the item and whether customisation is involved. Contact us for a specific estimate before ordering.

Can I see the pieces in person before buying?

Yes. We’re at No. 13 Jalan U3/3 (BK) Pusat Perniagaan Subang, 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor. Come in. Looking at the actual material is always better than a product photo.

What if a piece doesn’t work in my space?

Check the Exchanges and Refund Policy on the site for current terms. If you have questions before buying, ask us first and we’ll be straight with you about whether something is right for your space.
